Well. i now have a school of 6 neons in my tank. One of them stands out thou. I couldent get a picture of the neon because he/she wouldent stop moving. So i will try to explain this the best i can.

He/she has a kinda large lump on its under side.

Kinda like this....

But if it turns to the side you can see that the lump in compases the entire abdominal area...

I can say that i know its not just fat. Becuase its very very prevlant. Usually when a fish is fat you can tell all around its body, not just in one area.

He/she swims around a little irradicly compared to the other neons.

Do you have any idea what it could be?

it could be "neon tetra disease"

is the fish losing is coloration?
I agree, but it is too early to tell. post another pic, he should show symptoms by then. if he starts losing color, he/she could have the disease, if he/she does, you must kill him/her immediately.

Thats not my pic. Its one ifound on google.

Ive tried to take pics of him/her but it wont slow down enough for my camera to catch it right to show you the detail. Ill try to take more pics and get back to you 2morrow. as its 1:46 AM here :P

And no, its color is the same as all the rest of the tetras which is normal colors.

This is the best i can do for ya guys..after 10min. of trying to get good pics.

looks fine to me.

Wel...in the second pic. At least to me. You can see a lump coming down. None of my other neons have something like that. Nor have i ever seen it.

All the rest are streamline, he isnt.

ah... now I see what you mean... I think it may be internal parasites, or possibly constipation. has he/she been pooping normally? I would quarantine him/her so you can observe him/her more closely.
