i really worried about the new angelfish i got online... his mouth is always open. here's a pic

he's having a bit of a rough time because of my bully clownfish (in the 29g) and i honestly can't remember how his mouth looked when i got him (on thursday i believe) but i don't think it was gaping open like that. :help:
here's a side shot

hey you went with my advise :D I think it look normal, BUT thats just me. Maybe if you manage to take a better pic, I can tell you if you got a prob. So much for QT huh? Tisk Tisk :lipssealedsmilie:

My Angelfish did the same thing in the past. For a few questions. Does he attempt to it? Is he Aware of the food? Is he kind of oblivoius and careless as to waht is around him? As in putting a net or something near him and seeing how he reacts? Does he move around the tank?

I am asking this because it is similar to what happened to my angel. The first time is what just a couple of days, and the second time he passed away :(

i haven't seen him go for food for a couple days, it's hard to tell tho, he may be eating some that floats past him. he is not oblivious to what is around him, he spends most of the time hiding from the clown and when he comes out he is only out for a minute before he chased back into hiding. im just really worried about his mouth, it doesn't close!

Is there a way you can move the clown, even if temporary? A fish, especially a new one, can get really stressed from being bullied.

Just curious, which site did you order him from?
