Worried about ropefish

Today I noticed ich on one of my cave dwelling tetras. A few spots on a couple other fish. I raised the temp, added aquarium salt, & used a 1/2 dose of Quick Cure as directed for tetras. I was not thinking at the time about my ropefish. Not sure if malachite green is ok to use on them. Does anybody know?

What size is the tank and what fish are in it? Malachite Green is okay but I would prefer not to use meds over salt when treating for ich. Meds tend to stress the fish more than salt. What is the temperature right now?

29g tank 2 blind cave dwellers, 3 blue rams, 1 leopard danio ( rest were eaten by ropefish), 1 green/gold cory, 1 pleco, 2 chinese algae eaters, 1 ropefish Temp is currently 82

I don't know about ropefish specifically, but I have treated ick with Quick Cure at a half dose for sensitive fish (catfish).
