so i found out recently that my true perc in the 29 gallon is a mean little guy (after he killed a baby clown i added) and am trying to figure out what tankmates i can add. after a post on here i got some advice that a pygmy angel (i want to go with the cherub pygmy) should be fine with the mean clown. my question is - could i add a 6-line wrasse as well? my lfs owner said the wrasse should be ok with the clown. could i add 2 fish with the 2 i have now? i do 10% wc weekly. THANKS!

I don't see a problem adding those, but I would suggest you thoroughly rearrange your rock before doing so to break up any territory the clown may have claimed.

I wouldn't add a pygmy angel to a 29 gallon. I really think they need more room for swimming, and would suggest a 3 foot tank as a minimum. The sixline wrasse should do fine in there though.

after you qt the new fish ...right?? ;)

i am going for the cherub pygmy - they are the smallest and ok in 30 gallons.
I know, I read it. Still, angels are extremely active swimmers, and that 30 gallon minimum refers to a 3 foot tank. They utilize all the space they have. The Bio Cube doesn't have enough horizontal swimming space for this fish. Just an opinion.

Python, my friend.;)
And the SW tanks are so small that water changes for those aren't that big of a deal.
