I made something similar to this for a rack system at school... only mine was just a bunch of plastic beads in a circular laundry basket, with an airstone in the bottom. Worked really well, I would think this would be even better. Nice design!

Schiz, I wonder if you would like to be the first one to buy - just wondering, I have tweaked the design a bit more, to increase flow through the bucket, and to create a better effect as a wet/dry filter.

Do you have pictures or a material list of the actual construction materials? I.e. what kind of pump, whats the sump made of, etc etc.
