Would I Be Overstocked?

I definitely agree with Harlock. Cories are great fish! So cute and fun to watch. Tetras just kinda swim around and die for no reason :D

Tetras are nice in huge schools in large tanks, but they were boring when I had them in a small tank.

I agree with you about cories. Easily my favorite fish. I don't agree about tetra's though. I think they get a bad rap because some of them are very fragile and die all time (neons), but there are some that are quite hardy and very interesting to own.

Here I go again. That empty tank sitting there gives me way too much time to think. I have decided to keep the male betta and the neons in the 10g. I have four neons now, how many neons could I have in total? Now on to the bigger tank 55g. Here are my thoughts. My 2 Iredescent sharks (They are about 2") until I find them a new home, 6 danios, 6 white clouds, 6 serpea tetras, 6 glowlight tetras, 6 pygmy cories and 2 blue rams. Would this be too many fish? If it isn't the only other thing I would likt to add is some otos.

I am torn on what to advise you for the ten gallon. 4 neons is just too few for them to feel okay, but 6 neons and a betta is too much for the 10... I'd keep it as is, just provide lots of cover. For the 55 your stocking level is fine, actually.
