Would like real plants ...

Well I worked my hiney off this weekend and got the 75g tore down & cleaned.

I first started by purchasing 5 bags of fluorite and a 25# bag of small pebble Friday afternoon... took me hours of rinsing and a day of drying out in the sun, but I think its ready to go now. While I was doing that I moved out the current stock into a spare tank and emptied it.

Moved out the sand and all the plastic plants and cleaned up the glass. I painted the background black. I cleaned out my eheims in between coats. About an hour ago I moved the aquarium into place and put the substrate in and placed a piece of driftwood.

I then opened up my new T5 lighting fixture and changed out the actinic lamps for 7500k ones. WOW - the lamps in this thing are super bright! It has some legs which I had put on, but I dont think they are very sturdy and its pretty close to the top of my canopy so I might remove them and just let it rest on the glass top.

Tomorrow I'm going to replace the heater and the eheim plumbing and I should be ready for some plants and water.

My question now is how should I set the timers for all these lights? (2) 1000k & (2) 7500k there is also (4) built in moon lights and a fan which I hope doesn't run full time, but it probably will. ;)
