Not necessarily. This is more likely to work as a species tank in a smaller aquarium than mixing species in said tank, but there are no guarantees. Also, let's remember the amount of experience that Pittbull has with African cichlids. Not only that, but I'm sure Pittbull has a plan B in case there are issues.

yeh, that would be too small for mbunas. But it could make a great Shellie colony tank

Thanks mama yep i always have a plan b sitting around, so i plan to keep them in the 20 long for a bit and they will be fine til my 700gal above ground is ready and they will go in there and pretty much i will have a lot of fry or juvies by mid summer..

I also plan to put some Calvus out there as well.. thanks for the concerns aye..

well i was lookin for mainly just malawis and seems no so im just gonna go back to my community. tangs are nice but waaaay to expensive for a cheapo guy like me thx for all the help though guys!
