Would these fish get along?

Hi

I have a 55g tank with bog wood, rock and plenty of weed/plants. I have some small/medium fish such as mollies, penguins etc.
At the moment i have 2 large gouramis (very gentle) and a siamese fighter. I want to get a couple of firemouths and maybe a red tailed shark.

Would these 4 different fish get along? Not worried about the smaller fish as i can easily find new homes for them.

I currently have a blue gourami with mollies and I also had a red tailed shark with them also. They get along fine(well at least mine do). Can't help you with the other fish though.
 
Hi, thanks for that. The main query i suppose is with the firemouths. I have always wanted these and now my aquarium is 12 months established i feel it is the right time.

nope - don't think your firemouths will work out well with gouramis - they might bully them a bit - also the rts will harass everythign on the bottom form what i've heard they are extremely territorial
 
****, i suppose i could re-home the gouramis.
If i decided against getting either of the above fish can anyone recommend a fish for me.
I'm after a good sized fish/fishes that will be the main show poece of my tank. It doesn't have to swim around a great deal but would like it to be out and about all day. I used to have a 8" clown loach but it died a few months ago. My tank just looks a little bare sometimes and want that WOW effect when people see my tank.
