I was looking at my tank for awhile and got to thinking. Since I have a powerhead that pushes the water through the U.V., would it be overkill if I got a small canister filter and hooked the u.v. to it so that there wouldn't be the unsightly powerhead and I would put everything under the tank and get some more filtration? I am thinking it would be fine since if the powerhead is sucking up the water, why not filter as much of it as possible so that the u.v. over time wouldn't get clogged. I'm not looking for any alternate ways of hiding the powerhead or anything like that, I am just asking if it will be overkill.
