Would this Speed Cycle Up?

With the established bio wheel in the new tank do you think that there is any chance of the tank be cycled by Saturday or Sunday.

I moved over a couple of filters from a 35g and a 50 or 60g to a 180 g and I did not have a cycle at all. Make sure you test, but you might not even have a cycle. But you would still want to add fish slowly so you don't overload the tank to quickly, before the bacteria can have a chance to catch up.

Will keep track of the water parameters over the next two weeks.
Just wanted to follow-up...
It's been at least two weeks, and everything looks stable.
pH = 7.6 = straight out of the tap
NH3 = 0
NO2 = 0
NO3 = 20 - 40

It's been basically like this over the entire two weeks.

Did removing the bio-wheel have any adverse effects on the established tank? A few months ago I replaced my eclipse hood on my 15 gallon with the twin-light model so as to be able to grow plants. Consequently, I have an unused Eclipse hood/filtration system itching to be put into use. I've recently gotten my friend hooked on fishkeeping and we are going out tonight to get supplies for her second tank.

If I were to buy a 10 gallon and take the Bio-wheel from my established ( ~4 years) 15 gallon, replacing the old one with a new bio-wheel, is there anything I need to do maintain the bacteria colony or would the colonies in the gravel, etc. be sufficient to rebuild the bio-wheel colony?

Thanks in advance,
~jeff

I am not trying to start fight or flame war or anything but what does normal mean when in refrence to water quality my ph is normally 6.5 but thats not normal as it varies all over the country. as the other water paramiters also vary depending upon quality of water.

Water quality looks good - N-ites, N-ates, ammonia, pH are all normal.

I'll second that. I used mature filter media on my new 72G tank, slowly added fish through a two week period. Daily water test showed nothing. Trace of Nitrate started to show after two weeks. I figured the tank had a short cycle if it went through a cycle at all.
