Would this Speed Cycle Up?

I am not trying to start fight or flame war or anything but what does normal mean when in refrence to water quality my ph is normally 6.5 but thats not normal as it varies all over the country. as the other water paramiters also vary depending upon quality of water.

Water quality looks good - N-ites, N-ates, ammonia, pH are all normal.

In this case, normally = usually, normal is an opinion anyway

If I were to buy a 10 gallon and take the Bio-wheel from my established ( ~4 years) 15 gallon, replacing the old one with a new bio-wheel, is there anything I need to do maintain the bacteria colony or would the colonies in the gravel, etc. be sufficient to rebuild the bio-wheel colony?

Jeff-

The bacteria in the gravel would probably be enough to colonize the new bio-wheel but, to be doubly sure, I would wait until the filter pad is very dirty before doing the switch. Then you've got the gravel and the dirty filter floss both full of bateria to colonize the new bio-wheel. Wait a couple weeks and then change the dirty filter.

The old bio-wheel will probably be more than enough to avoid a cycle on the new tank as well.

Hmmm...is this directed towards me?

If so, sorry about being vague.

The pH out of the tap is 7.6, thus I said "normal" as it's not being changed after adding to the tank.
If it's not explicit, NO2 / NO3 / NH3 all tested "0" out of the tap.
