ummm... call all your local places. just ask for the product by name and see if they have physical stock. then you only have to go to one place.

So let's see. You've resealed your tank with a wally world silicone and spent what? $4 - $5? Then lost a fish presumably due to the silicone you're not sure of. Now you have to scrape it all out. In the long wouldn't it have been cheaper and less work to just buy the stuff labelled for aquariums in the first place?

Well in between the sarcasm I guess I was trying to really say just get the right stuff from the LFS. Why take another chance?

They have a 10oz tube for $10. Should be way more than enough for a 55. Heck the 3oz should be enough laid in correctly.
