I want to add 2 angels to my 125 gallon tank...current tankmates are:
1 Severum
1 Firemouth
1 Blood Parrot
1 Convict
3 Rosy Barbs
2 Clown loaches

I already have the angels and they are in a smaller tank. I wanted to put them in the bigger tank so they could have more room. They are still pretty small (bodies are bigger than a quarter but smaller than a 50 cents piece) The convict would be my main concern but she is small and stays mainly in her hiding spot. Your thoughts and suggestion are greatly appreciated.
Thanks

they would be toast

the convict and the firemouth. how big are the other fish? if they are all pretty small like the angels it may work since the tank is so large. you can try it out and just keep an eye on them. if things start to get rough remove the angels. do you know if you have a male convict or a female? the females stay pretty small but a male convict will in time take care of the angels. some people say firemouths are docile, they are sorta but not as mellow as the severum. i had a firemouth kill a jack dempsey before

The convict is a female (less than 2 inches). I don't know if the firemouth is male or female, but it is about 4 1/2 inches. It doesn't seem to bother anybody--sometimes flares its gills but I have never seen any aggression.

i would bet money that if you drop in those small angels the firemouth would think they are food. thats too much of a size difference
if it were me id be afraid to try it

Which one or ones would be the problem?

1 Severum
1 Firemouth
1 Blood Parrot
1 Convict

All of these fish get larger, and quite a bit more aggressive than angels. They would most likely harass and kill your angels upon maturity. The parrots are the only ones I hesitate on because I know little about them, but I have seen a large one chasing another around the tank at the LFS (and also seen them in community tanks) so I can only draw my opinion on that.

In my experience angels are much too passive to be placed with the other cichlids you have listed. I think they would be looked at as food.... just my two cents
