I bought a 15gallon tank as a rearing tank for my krib and platy fry. I also want to add shrimp to the tank. I was wondering if I could raise some type of fish as feeder fish?

But would this work in this tank?
-Cherry shrimp [breeding]
-platy fry [when I have them]
-red rosey minnows [breeding]

I would add __ rosey's then just breed them so Im not adding diseases to the fry tank.
This tank has a filter for a 55G with a sponge over the intake. It has bogwood with java fern attatched and a few other plants along with riccia, duckweed and frogbit.
How many Roseys should I start out with??
What type of algea eater should I add?? and How many [if small]?

Cherry shrimp shrimplets are tiny (about this size - ) any fish that can fit them in their mouth will. If you want to raise shrimp just keeping them in a shrimp only tank would be best.
