hi,I can pick up a pro clear aquatic systems trickle filter with a built in skimmer for half price ($175.00)
I would like to remove bio balls and use for a sump.
are the skimmers in these units any good?
also the unit looks like it would hold only 7-10 gallons of water.my aquarium is 75 gallons.
I would also use an overflow box that comes with it.
also,is it ok to just shut the sump down if you go on vacation due to evaporation?
