I make it a practice NOT to tell the guys at the LFS that I have a SW tank without a filter. God forbid I do tell them, cause then I have to listen to how my tank will crash and how nothing will live in it and ........ then they try to talk you into filters. If I say its been running for years without a filter.. they say well, you're just lucky..
Only one store has stood behind me and been glad that I utilize the berlin method. One of the guys there has a few berlin tanks also.
SO, if the guy at the LFS asks you what type of filter you have.. DON'T tell him none.
