Some friends of ours happened to be in the LFS at the same time we were the other day, looking to buy 2 small feeder goldfish for their small BOWL!
I told them how big goldfish can actually grow, and they actually listened to us. We suggested a betta and african dwarf frog instead for the bowl they had, since they turned down my offer of a spare tank i had at the time.

They liked that idea, and immediately proposed that idea to their 2 little girls. The girls were thrilled too.

THANK GOD SOME PEOPLE HAVE SENSE TO LISTEN TO REASON!!!!!

How big is the bowl? A betta and ADF can would need about 5 gallons

Not sure on the bowl size, but better than 2 goldies in there instead. Am still trying to talk them into taking a spare tank from me for them.

Nicely done It's good to think that some people actually listen and accept advice when they know that they may need a pointing in the right direction. Normally they're indignant and stand-offish
