Ok, so about 2 months ago, I moved back up to Austin and let my parents in control of my 10g tank at home. The tank has an Angelfish and a rainbowfish and HAD a single otto. Well, I got into town friday to tear the tank down and move the fish on up to Austin. And well.. WOW.. I got here and my tank was COVERED in brown algae.. I mean COVERED. I had some brown aglae clumps that were at least 5" long.. The glass is coated. I wish I had a digital camera to take pictures of it... My angelfish even had algae on it's long bottom fins!!! I was amazed at how the tank looks. The algae scraper had so much algae on it, when I removed the outside magent piece, the inside on was stuck to the glass!!!! I'm amazed i survived my childhood.
