WTB Duckweed, Water Hyacinths in Georgia

It's Atlanta, man! Any farm pond or swampy ditch near you should be loaded with more kinds of duckweed than you knew existed. Lemna, Wolffia, Spirodela, maybe even Wolffiella. You'll probably scoop up some other floaters too: Riccia, Riciocarpus, Azolla, perhaps Limnobium. It's all good!

You can probably find cheap water hyacinth at any place that carries pond supplies unless it is illegal in your state, in which case you're just out of luck. Check these same stores for duckweed if you're uncomfortable wild-collecting it. They'll often give it to you free.

swampy ditch...hmm i think i got one in mind, but thing is i live near a lake but pretty much no floaters i can see visibly.
and i figured i could do the same thing too, but a few stores i've gone too havent stocked up on aquatic plants at all yet. so of course i was like wtf, but it's w/e i'm going to keep searching then. thx for the advice.

nevermind, I went to Atlanta Water Gardens and bought 3 water hyacinth (got an extra 1 for free :headbang2:), water lettuce, and complimentary duckweed. It's a great store and their fish they sell are healthy and huge. Especially their koi-they are monstrous in size yet so beautiful.
