I'm trying to buy one of these pleco. Preferably someone local so I can pick up but I would also consider paying a reasonable amount for shipping.

Good luck, they're one of the species from Brazil banned from export. The selling prices of the banned species have gone up faster than gasoline, at least on the aquabid auctions.
