My tank is now fully cycled and I'm looking for a 'deal' on some low-light plants and would also like a few snails. I have a 30 gal (maybe 29) with a few plants that are kind of punk from being in there through the cycling. I currently have 4 snails (2 gold and 2 black 'mystery'). Right now I have the following plants, sorry I don't know their scientific names...
several bunches of 'grass' - it is 6-8" tall
1 fern (dark green, not sure what type)
several sword plants
a short plant with broad leaves
I'm basically looking for plants the snails will like and fish can hide in - it would be nice to have more variety and replace a few of the plants that have not fared so well. I only have 4 fish and don't plan on getting more anytime soon. My dwarf gourami loves to hide in plants so I'd like some nice things for him to play in. I'm looking for just a few snails (would prefer 2 or 3 decent size/adult). If anybody has the standard anacharis for the snails to eat, that would be FANTASTIC!
If anyone has plants and snails that would work in my tank, I'm looking to spend about $20 + shipping if someone can do up a set of stuff for me. Thanks!
