preferably in fun colors but anything is ok... NOT apple snails or the 'hitchikers' that end up everywhere please. I can pay with paypal.
thanks

FYI...most of the "mystery" snails you are going to find are actually apple snails. Especially the "fun" colored ones. They aren't giant apple snails, but brigs. They don't eat live plants and only breed if they have a male and female.

Good luck finding one. The USDA has established an import ban on all non-invasive snails. I believe there are also new restrictions over shipping snails within the country. You may get lucky and find a store that was stocked before the ban.

And where did you find this information? Most applesnails are not imported. Some species are illegal in certain states, for example in Texas where I am you cannot have Pomacea canaculata or Marisa snails, but you can have all other applesnail species I believe. I know that brigs are not illegal. If anything has changed it would have to be very recently. Do you have a link to this information?

I've seen them in PA/NJ Petsmarts too.

Yes, the ban was established fairly recently. I workd at PetSmart, and we have not had a shipment of snails in weeks. Our tanks are empty, and we have set up displays with information as to why.

Here's something I found after a 2 second search on Google:
