WTB: Neon Tetra(s)

Hello AC,

I thought I'd come here first and ask before i go to a pet store and buy them. I'm looking for 7 neon tetras. I'd like to go as cheap as possible. I can get them from my LPS for 1.10 a piece. I thought I'd ask here first.

$1.10 is a really good price, plus if you buy from someone, shipping will be atleast $20+ unless they live locally.

yea they are a lot more here 2-3 some times more. even 2 day shipping is going to add $1 each per fish if not more. buy them local.

Hmm okay, I knew that if i bought form someone here they were taken care of though, so, lol....

I know what you mean, but I doubt anyone here breeds them. If you want better chances on getting hardy stock, talk to the fish manager and ask what days they will be getting neons, then come back 3 days later or so. A friend at a fishstore has admitted the mortality rate on rummynose to be 50% a day later, same with the cardinals, due to them being wild-caught.
