I may be a little confused on this but here goes nothing. I have read that there are freshwater and saltwater nerites. I am wanting about 4-5 of the freshwater, pretty ones. I figure there are more than one specie that is pretty. I have seen the olives and they just don't do it for me. I wouldn't be able to find them once I put them in the tank. They would be little blendmasters with all the algae that I have. I have seen the zebra's, zig-zags and differnet colors, I am pretty sure that most of the real pretty ones are marine though.
