I'M NOT RETURNING ANY and i've decided on a corie (probably) or a tetra.

Do what the **** you want, just stop talking to us about it. See we're fish lovers and want the best for your fish, unlike you apparently. Zebra danios NEED at least 10 gallons to be happy, and tiger barbs generally need more. Tetras also need schools. I don't know why you're asking questions when you won't pay attenion to any advice.

we're not saying that they will not or are not fine, i'm just saying it is not the best for their mental well being and if you loved them you would return them, or buy a 20-30G so you could add more tiger barbs and danios.

your tank cant have any more fish, but you insist on adding some, so ill put it like this- over stocking with 1 extra tiger barb in a 5 gallon is like 100 extra in a 500 gallon tank.

Well (=^_^=) i have to say i agree wiht them on this... as of now it seems like you have enough fish in your tank... I would advise you getting rid of your danios..because they need room to LIVE in!
Thats the way it goes! If you really love them then do whats right for them... they'll get a bigger tank and be happy!

Also, danios really CAN'T live in a tank under 10g (10g isnt really adivsed too, but it has been OK for me)

I would serioulsy think of getting rid of them, and the barbs!

The barbs need room to zip around... and they can have that in a 5g..

So, hows this:
Git rid of your fish and buy:
4-5 corys
1 beta

or:

1 african dwarf frog
1 beta

because a beta is really the only thing you can have in there... (aside form corys)

PLEASE, for the sake of your fish, get rid of them and start over!

well daayda, I wouldn't get albino corys as they grow too large. he could get 3-4 pygmy cories, though.
