ive checked out the site but i like to choose my fish when i buy them rather than buy one online. it lets me see what else is going on in the tank and if anything in the tank is dead or dying. plus picking out your own fish is half the fun

There used to be a actual store here in Calgary, Canada (before I got interested in this fishy business!), but I only have experience with the Canadian online store. I have been very satisfied with the two orders for stuff I've placed so far. They don't sell fish at all. But their prices are great and they deliver exactly what is promised. Canada Post, on the other hand?!?@?@! :headshake2:
Big Al's is a nice chain that has a mix of corporate and franchise stores across Canada and 2 in the US (and a 3rd soon to open or so I am being told).

I have purchased a number of pieces of my equipment from them here in Toronto and have found their prices impossible to beet. They also have a price guarantee. They will meet any competitors advertised price.
According to Al (the owner) he also has a farm in Florida where they raise fish (or so I seem to remember)

Bigalsonlnie is the best. Simply awesome. I can't say enough about them. I've been ordering from them for years and will never order from anywhere else.
