XP2 and sand substrate?

I will be running 2 XP2s on my new 75 gal tank. will a pool filter sand substrate cause any problems? I debating using the flourite I already have or switching to PFS while I have the chance.

no problem with PFS and my FX5. Just keep the intake high enough that it does not pull sand in.

I've had an xp3 running with aragonite sand on the same tank now for over 10 years. No issues. I think you'll be fine.

I have PFS and running an XP3 and XP2...no issues.
