YAY!(getting an emperor scorpion)

I haven't had experience with any inverts, but check out some reptile forums and see. There's some guy that posts on ours that does a lot with inverts. I know some others have info on them too

O.o the black emperors are cool, I had a couple before. Mine were nice enough to hold too, although when they get on you they don't really want to get off anytime soon and I didn't want to force them off, so I ended up having a scorpion on me for a long time. Mine ate crickets fine and kept them in a 20 gal with sand. Its cool if you have a black light on over them, they will turn green!

i used to have 6 scorpions. Irraeli Morris,Peruvian,Emperor,Asian,Whiptail. They need a sand bottom, heat,uv,black light. If the meat between the top and bottom of the scorpion is really yhick it's a female. That's looking at the side of the Emperor. If you can barely see any meat sticking out of the side it's a male. Males also get larger than the females.

here are a couple pictures i took a a week ago...

i checked under to see the pectines(to tell if they were male/female) and they both seem to look like female, can anybody identify something else that can tell the sex of them?

thanks

(Don't worry these shots was takin' before i figured out they needed moist substrate, it's alot more damp now.)
