Finally after months of checking craigslist daily, it paid off. I found a (roughly) 190 gallon acrylic tank for just $100.:headbang2: It didnt have anything with it, but it was well worth it. I am going to build a stand for it, and sell my smaller tanks to save up for the equipment for it. I am so excited.

dimensions- 50 x 36 x 24

You can see my parents golfcart in the background of the picture for comparison of how big it is. And I guess I will show off my dodge as well.:)

Pretty cool. Is that a custom built tank? What is on the right side of it? Looks like a panel or door??

The guys sister owns an acrylic business and he had a bunch of tanks in his house of different sizes. Originally, it was supposed to be a bird cage, the panel on the side was the top. They then converted it to an aquarium. I made the guy fill it with water to make sure and it holds water like a champ.

Thats why I got the 1500 instead of the bigger trucks. I wanted a bigger one but I resisted. :)

Nice find.

I like the tank.. but the truck ruined the thread...

why by a dodge when you can get a chevy for the same price and get more horsepower and better gas mileage? lol

just joking.. its a nice looking truck- I was just raised to be anti-dodge thats all :-)

Do you really want to know why I got the truck I did?

My dad owns a salvage yard and he gave it to me. It was his choice and not mine, so I am not going to argure that case with him over a new truck for me. Beggers cant be choosers. :)
