Yellow-striped briggs

Beautiful! I hate the fact that my goldens are all algea covered right now. Wish they all had that "just waxed shell" look, and that new snail smell! Were the yellow stripes definately diffusa or is it too early to tell? Did you end up finding more or was it just the one? I'd love to get my hands on a couple of those stipes, they are outstanding!

Both parents seem to be brig/diffusa so I guess they inherited their stripes from their father. At first I had noticed just one striped one that hatched amongst a bunch of regular goldens, but one of the later clutches produced a lot more of them. They are starting to turn more of a burgundy color now. The shell is golden and the stripes started out brown but are turning burgundy so its color is getting darker. I've never shipped any snails before so I'm not sure how to go about it but if you'd like a couple I can set some aside from you. I'll need someone to give me advice on shipping though!

That would be awsome. If your location is actually Vienna, Austria, I don't know how easy it would be to ship trans-Atlantic, customs etc. May end up being a real headache for the both of us and I would hate for the small ones to suffer any loss on my account. Will have to ask a few others to see all of what is involved. If not, I will have to admire the photo updates and see if I can find somthing similar stateside. Thank you for the offer.

Actually I'm in Vienna WV so I'm not too far from you. I've never shipped anything live so I'd need some info but I know that you can ship diffusa without and problems these days. I'll do a bit of research and see what I can find. I'd send them to you for just the price of shipping and I've got about 5 that will be large enough to ship in about a week.
