Yo Yo Loaches

I have 3 yoyos that I got 4 months ago, which are about 2.5 inches and have not grown. Then about 2 month ago I got 2 more that were a little more than an inch long. I have only noticed them getting rounder but my boyfriend says that they have gotten longer too. They might have grown ¼ inch longer, but I did not take measurements so I can not say exactly.

My bf and I were wondering if they might grow fast as little guys, but then grow slower once they reach a certain length. That might explain why my little guys have grown but not the big guys. If anyone else has had experience with their yoyos growing fast I would love to hear about it.

One of my yo yos has to be approaching 6" in size..he's a monster....I've had them for about 2 years now.
 
You can buy them at Local Pet Stores, not necessarily PetSmart or PetSupermarket or WalMart, but your locally owned stores. They are similarly priced to Clown Loaches, just around 2-5 dollars dpeending on the store.
 
Ha! I just got back from the fish store and they had two Yoyo Loaches left, so I bought them for 3.99 each. Actually, they were labeled Lochatta Loaches, but whether they are Yoyo's or Lochatta's they actually say Yoyo on the side and you can't tell the difference, and the LFS workers said they will grow to the same length as Yoyo's and need the same requirements, so I don't really care! They are soo cool! I hope they survive, I don't have much luck with that fish store, but I think they will hold out...!!! :) I will send pictures soon!
