Yo Yo or Clown Loaches

Snails really are not a problem as long as you don't overfeed. I have common ramshorn, pond, and MTS in my 20 gallon tank, which some people would think would lead to massive overpopulation of snails, but I don't overfeed, and I maintain my tank regularly and not once have I ever had to remove a single snail.

I was more concerned about the unecessary stress placed on the loaches by transporting them frequently.
"transporting" them once every two months is not alot of 'transporting'.

adding fish to your tank to take care of snails, algea or detirius is not the best idea. first, it takes up bioload, and second, you can easily take care of snails, algea or detirus by yourself, and not add any to the bioload of the tank.

even if you wanted to add some yo-yos, we need to know what else is in the tank before we can reccomend anything.

Wow - This topic took a turn I was not expecting!!!

Any ways, the tank is 90 gallons. Its inhabitants are as follows:

1. 2 - Angelfish
2. 2 - Blackskirt Tetras
3. 11 - Glowlight Tetras
4. 3 - Yo Yo Loaches
5. 1 - Flying Fox
6. 3 - Blue Gouramis
7. 1 - Upside-down catfish
8. Lots of baby snails

Maybe the snails are not a problem, as some of you suggest. It just seems that I have lots of baby snails. Thanks for your help.

A lot of larger cichlids will also eat snails. I once had a Sleeper Goby Swallow one up then poop it out three days later. All I could think was man glad that wasn't me lol. Do you have any pics of the snails? As long as they are not MTS you should be able to remove the eggs before they hatch.
