Eheim Pro 3 2080 Canister Filter

I like to window shop Big Al's Online while I daydream about having some rather large tank in my future; well tonight I noticed that this little guy is now available in North America. Heck of a price tag but it also has some interesting new features.

I really love my Eheim classic filters...

Got one 2217 for my 75 gallon and the daddy of them all for my 100 gallon. Got the 2260 http://www.vldesign.com/2260.html

Down the road I plan to get a 240 and just have one tank so I will end up putting both filters on the tank. The 75 will be a quarantine tank maybe. I have an emperor 400 that will be fine for that (wont have any bio load really).

I have an Eheim pro 2 that I would be thrilled to unload for a good price...Mint condition...Maybe ran for a year.Anyone in the Toronto area? Personally I find it difficult to clean..Too damned heavy for me when its full...

Hmmm...interesting.
The filter sound pretty big and pretty heavy with 12 liters of capacity!
We're talking 3 gallons of water included.

I like the size of my Filstar XP3, and it's just the right size to be managable in a small apt.

Add all the weight of the filter media and it is a beast...The castor thing is a big improvement...I bet mine weighs close to 40 lbs full....

How about this Blinky. If the price is good and you really want it, I let you have it because i was only going to buy it as a spare. My 2260 and 2217 are really doing well (knock wood). If you dont end up wanting it, maybe then I'll consider it too...
