You know you're a fishkeeper when.......

when you know pH and water softness/hardness are not the same....

You know your a fish keeper when you discover your Dad has been hiding a 30 gallon aquarium from you in your house's garage for over a month.

I found a 15 in my parents basement and it was like an early Xmas

you know you're a fishkeeper when you come home, rush past everyone just so you can look at your tank and make sure all is ok, then you turn around and acknowlege the boyfriend!...whose standing there staring at you.

This a great thread BFM!
Ykyafk when you're making dinner for 6 and you keep running up and back between frying things just to see what the next post is!

YKYAFKW........

you give your pleco the yummy big end of the zucchini when you're making dinner that has zucchini in it.

when people ask what you want for Christmas and all you say is "Big Al's and Petsmart gift cards!", lol.

..When you add into your "Christmas To Do" list the following:

- Clean fish tanks
- Stock up on blood worms
- Make a list of every member of each fish tank for your fish-sitter
- Move fish from work to home tanks

OR..

When you start realizing you spend more money on the fish than your cats..

OR..

When you can go the the LFS and name almost every species without looking at the placards (this AMAZES my mother...)..

When you realize you have about 25 tanks to many....

YKYAFKW your kiddo says "Mom, are you done on your fishy forum yet? i wanna play on my websites!"

You know you're a fish keeper when you've just realized you have nowhere for your 12' Christmas tree because you moved your 75 gallon tank there in the spring, forgetting that spot had another purpose...

...and not being too worried. The tree will only be in middle of the room for another week. (have to have your priorities straight)

YKYAFKW your kiddo asks for a list of all the fish species you have so she can tell the kids in her class at school.

on that note, YKYAKFW you have to hold yourself back from writing down all the latin/scientific names, lol!
