You know you're a fishkeeper when.......

...when friends entirely block out your half of the conversation because it inevitably turns to "this fish i had once."

You know you're a fish keeper (of sorts) when you take home part of your lunch to feed to the crabs that night.

You know you're a fishkeeper when you live in the SE where there is a very severe drought and you worry that your well will go dry long before anyone else's because of all that fish tanks you keep.

My wife jokes that we are going to be blamed for the drought.

You know your a fishkeeper when you have more fish tanks than you have space and you start putting them in the kitchen.

My wife complains about that one.

haha, cool thread..... you know when your a fish keeper when you start thinking of ways to convert old appliances into aquariums. :grinyes:

You are very sad to see an overstocked tank and feel the need to yell at the owner.

oh lmao! these are great.

you know you're a fishkeeper when you go to the dollar store for turkey baster, measuring cups n spoons, plastic tubs, suction cups, etc. all for your tanks! and then you get ticked if they don't have toothpicks.... for feeding bloodworms.

or:

you know you're a fishkeeper when your kitchen has a full set of gorilla racks holding tanks and you realize you need a smaller table to accomodate the fish.

keep em coming folks!

You know you're a fishkeeper when you put off a water change because your fish are sleeping.
