You know you are a fish keeper when...
...You walk for over an hour and a half in the pouring rain after a long 7 hour shift at work and get soaked with your hands going numb just to look at a fish tank from CL
...You want a new fish tank/decor over new clothes and a car
...Your 1 bedroom apartment has almost all it's outlets used
...The death of a prized fish ruins your day and you are in mourning for that week
...You spend more time doing water changes/feedings/on AC then you do homework
...You have shrimp and worms in your freezer..when you are a vegetarian
...Your shopping list includes veg for fish
...You can identify a female/male gourami and the best LFS around can't
...You have a special paring knife, turkey bastor, and plastic cup as a permanent fixture on your table
...You don't want to move because then you have to move your tanks
...You hate having people over, yet you want people to come over...only so you can hear/see what they think of your tanks
..You set up all tanks at 9:30pm or later, and stay up all night/morning by yourself until the tank is set up
...You don't want to go on road trips because you don't trust anyone to take care of your fish properly
...You get more mad at your boyfriend for not noticing new fish/aquascape then when you cleaned the entire apt from pig sty to spotless
Okay my LAST one
You have FREQUENT REACCURING nightmares where you are somewhere and either you somehow you forgot you had fish and they only have a couple inches of water when you see the tank you didn't know you had, or you go somewhere and they have bettas in tiny things with barely any water or fish extremely incompatible together, or just horrible fish abuse, and it bothers you the rest of the day
