young fish when can i add them to main tank?

hey , ive got 8 young electric yellowz there size range is 1.5cm - 2cm
i was just wondering if i would be able to put these into my main tank yet with the other fish or are they still to small???....
im not sure what the other fish are cant remba .... there light blue with darker blue stripes on them and max size would be 5cm at the moment
yer so if you have any idea when i can put my lil electric yellows in, plz tell me what you think

hmmm 2cm is pretty small, but would be the absolute min size to add with the rest of your fish. It really depends on how many hiding places you have for the little ones, how large your tank is, and how many other fish are in there.

I've had fry grow up to adulthood in my main tanks so its not impossible, but you may loose a couple in the process.

If you can, I'd wait maybe until they were 1-1.5 inches.

I would rearrange the tank, as it destroys their terriorties and reduces aggression towards the new fish.
 
theres alot of rock work would rather not move anythn , but mite have to....
i just hope the lil ones wont be to stress or get eatn!
 
Aggression is not the problem here, because the new fish are so small you just dont want them to get eaten! Re-arranging the tank IMO will not do anything, because the adult fish dont see the new ones so much as a territory threat but as a yummy snack.

If you can, I'd wait till they are a little larger. ;)

lol ok wel ill see what wil happen , i just put all the little ones in a 4foot tank all by them selves! hope the space helps them grow faster!!
