Your Dream Tank

I'd get the biggest tank I could possibly find, and I'd make it a south american or southeast asian swamp biotope! It would be so big, that even if I put all of my male bettas in, they would never find each other! I have a 10gal SE asian swamp biotope now... it's a start!!!

We already have our dream tank..... :) Although my husband now wants to build an 8000 gallon as his next project.

a 12000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 gallon marine tank :D

a 50,000+gal SW reef setup, something i can go scuba diving in. Either that, or a 100,000gal with 6neons, a pair of guppies, and a few ghost shrimp

dream tank 1: big reef, i mean BIG

dream tank 2: rift lake biotope - BIG, lots of rocks

dream tank 3: puffers!

dream tank 4: south american river biotope - BIG, like a whole ecosystem, self-sustaining, i dunno, plecos, corys, cichlids, tetras, the works!

man i just want to aquascape my 10g so that it's perfect and then start a 20g and do the same. None of this million gallon business, but if I was going to make a huge aquarium it would look something like the 5th one of these amano tanks:

bloody work of art...

It’s a 150 gallon with a 20 gallon sump and a 50 gallon surge tank. This tank sits above my love set in the tv room and is built into the wall.

But the bad part about the tank is a huge Pacu that’s sitting in the middle of it. But the good part is that he only has about 3 or 5 more years on his life (no I’m not counting his days yet). Then that tank is off to salt water.

By then I hope to have a good water filter system set up and running (I have very hard well water). And I’m off to salt water land. II keep thinking I should start up one of my 100 gallon tanks with salt water in about 2 years so I can start to get a grasp on it all. Right now I have my dream tank and it has a good deal of what I need to get it running… start to get a grasp on it all.

so, im going to go WAYYYYY out there. i would like a home with glass walls. not the exterior, mind you, just the interior walls. i would use plants (real and imitation) to hide "sensitive" areas (b-room, closets, etc). all the "dead" space in the walls would be filled with water and fish. the living room would have a large pond in the floor with koi and pl*co's. coral furnature, sandy colored carpets, limestone and riverrock tiles. wow, i could go nuts with this idea, but you get my drift.

Oddball, there's actually a product out there that grows and distributes brine shrimp to your tank all day long and goes until there are no more eggs left. It's not to expensive either.
