Your most irrational phobias

I'm afraid of being in a car with angry people, it makes me nervous and I've never even been in an accident. I'm also slightly scared of heights (it depends), and crowds. The crowds part though comes from my Misophonia, which isn't a phobia per-say but it makes me not want to be around people. (You can look up Misophonia if you want, it sucks).

Ticks, and other parasites.
I'm also slightly afraid of parasites as well. Most I don't see their purpose in living, because they do nothing but eat other things and cause harm. Although I'm sure there are a few that do good, I have never found one! (Maybe leeches if used properly).

Aliens from "Fire in the sky"
I LOVE that movie! The aliens don't scare me, but its an awesome movie!

Clowns driving 18 wheelers. big trucks on a highway in general. if i see one on the road, my heart starts a going. i have no problem in a big truck, its just if they are next to me on the highway. no go.

and ear wigs.... yuck!!! i cannot stand the things. They serve no purpose so they can all go die someplace.

earthworms... for as long as i can remember.
i HATE when it rains and they come out of the ground and hang out on the sidewalk...

I have a slightly irrational fear of a serial killer or other bad person hiding behind the shower curtain. I check behind there every night before going to bed.

Elevators make me nervous, especially when they don't have a very smooth ride. I'm always afraid they're going to come crashing down while I'm in it.

hmmm those are all good fears. I would be afraid of elevators except they have emergency brakes for when the rope snaps (thank God), earwigs... i dont really like them and if i see one i get chills but i dont go out of my way to find them. I really dont like crown, i always think im gonna get lost or sumthin...

I don't do heights any more since 1995, when I almost fell from a 325' flare stack. Now I get tense when I have to drive over the tall ramps on the beltway.

Spiders...<shudder>

Mark

I only have 2 real fears....One is being around a large groups of people, its almost crippling. The other is spiders, not the tiny ones but ones that are bigger than a diameter of a nickel. The furry ones are even worse, I see them and pass right out.

I used to hate Crickets, but then I took in 10 baby tree frogs, had to get over it fast. Turns out, they are kinda cute until they are adults.
Now I hate Earwigs, our basement was overrun with them 2 weeks ago, they are just ew. All other bugs the cats or dogs take care of, lol.
Though a barn overrun with spiders and spider webs freaks me out.
Ticks, Mosquitoes & Fleas, thanks to our pets & neighbors too close with stagnant water, I can't stand them. My boyfriend and I wish the gov't would destroy all Tick, mosquitoes & fleas.
