Hey All~

I'm new to this board but not to saltwater keeping. I had to vote other too, as one of my tanks is a semi-reef with a few corals and the other one is still cycling but will house a chocolate chip starfish and I haven't decided what else yet!
The first tank is a 55g that has been running for 3 years. DSB, about 60lbs of LR. Corals are few and are placed high up in the rockwork as I only have 220w of PC's on this tank. Most corals are various mushrooms including ricordia, some button polyps and porities coral. Inverts include turbo and astrea snails, a brown cuke, queen conch, olive snail, several large featherdusters, numerous small ones, blue-legged hermit crabs, also one unknown crab. Fish include yellow tang, ocellaris clown, blue damsel, black dartfish and a mandarin.
The other tank is a 20g with regular NO lights (50/50), crushed coral and some large shells. Also has maybe 8lbs of LR. This tank will have the starfish but my mind keeps changing on what else to put in there. Maybe a skunk cleaner shrimp, maybe an urchin. As far as fish, I'm leaning towards either 2 green chromis or maybe a royal gramma with a 3 stripe damsel. Or maybe a single orchid dottyback (I will have to rethink the shrimp if I go with the dotty)........hmmmm........

What the heck does this stand for? I have seen it everywhere on the boards, and am completely unable determine what it means.

I started the hobby with a 20g fowlr. Then added a 55g fowlr. It was too much work for me (disabled) so I broke the 20 down and added everything to the 55g. This past Dec. I added 2 250w mh to my setup and am slowly converting to a reef.

I have a reef and a fowlr so I voted other.

voted for fish and other. fish for 2 55s. and "other" would be the mudskipper. it is a fish but it is more like an amphibian

Planted reef, 10 gals.

65g FOWLR that may become a reef
30g reef
10g planted FW
1g planted FW
I've also got a 5.5g that I'm using as a SW HT/QT and a 5g bucket full of LR and corals that have been there for a month or two waiting for a new home, it's actually the healthiest looking 'tank' in the house!
