What is HC? I'm a reefer... so I'm not so up on freshwater abbreviations

Hemianthus Callitrichoides. It's a high light plant that needs about 2.5 WPG.

It's been pretty easy to grow. My only problem has been keeping it down on the substrate, especially with my pleco wisking across it at night. The roots are short.

Ahh nice! Thanks you two. So would 9wpg be too much? If it's ok, what other plants can handle this intensity of light while still remaining compact and small?

hee is no such thing as too much light, only too much algea. With that much light, if you do not have CO2 injection, you could get a nasty case of algea.
