yoyo laying on its side

my yoyo has been laying on its side lately, is this normal? i've had him for about 1 month or so, never noticed this before.

My dojo loaches lie on their sides quite a bit to rest. It freaked me out the first time because I thought he was dead. But now I have learned they're just goofy

Just to be sure, though, what are your ammonia/nitrite/nitrate readings? Are any other fish acting odd? Is the yoyo by himself or does he have buddies of the same species? Yoyos do better in a sizable group.

It is completely normal. How many do you have? How big is your aquarium?

Hmmm...I would say that your snail is in danger. It is only a matter of time before the yoyo realizes it can eat him. You should also consider getting at least two more yoyo as they like to have company.

Do you know how big yoyo loaches get?

Ditto on the snail. Even if he is bigger than the yo-yo, eventually the yo-yo will get him. Can you relocate him to another tank?
