Ok, today i was watching the fish swim and make friends.

Then i see one fish be a little to friendly.

My rainbow was taking a crap, and it was hanging down, when my silver dollar came up and ate it!!! Pulled it right from the rainbow, it kind of made me sick.

Is my silver dollar going to get sick? is this even normal?
Did i buy a retarted fish?
thanks

I agree w/ everyone else here. Yes, it's very normal. In fact, I watch my fish sometimes after feedings. They actually chase each other around like the string of poop is a "goal"...whether that be a "goal" to kill, or to eat I'm not sure...but they sure do eat it!

Food transit time

I've read that certain fish, have limited digestive tracts. So that if you feed too much or too often, the new food simply pushes out the old food, whcih will be only somewhat digested due to less than the required digestive time. I really don't know it that can be extrapolated to all fish, but it is a posibility.
