I'm wondering if I get a few zebra danios and a few leopard danios, whether they'll all school together.

Does anyone have experience keeping both together?

i have leopard, blue, albino, and normal zebras in log fin and standard fin and they all "school" together. they don't really school up unless frightened they play and zip around the tank the rest of the time

I asked this same question with Gold and Regular Zebras and then went ahead and did it. As you can see in my Sig.

I can confirm that Danios don't really school at all. But they will play with each other no problem. No mater the color.

what fish will form a tight school? that dont get too big anyways...like the ones from "finding nemo"....

Rummynose tetras are one of the best small schoolers. Harlequin rasboras are another good choice. White cloud minnows are good as well.

My danio school includes long and short fin zebras, a long fin leopard, glofish of various colors, a long fin gold, a long fin blue. I like the look. :) But yeah like others said they don't really school, although they definitely hang out together and chase each other and all that.
