zebra danio + platie + guppy?

i have 6 zebra danio currently and plan to add a single guppy and a single platie to the tank (dont want breeding).

will this work? think the guppy and platie will do ok by themselves? and will the zebra danio bother the guppy's long tail? heard they are nippy. thanks

Danios like to chase, and will likely chase each other most of the time, but other fish might get 'buzzed' sometimes. Probably not enough to really stress the other fish, though. I kept danios with a betta, and they never nipped his tail. As long as the tank as room for the additional fish, you should be fine.

thanks! i checked few sites, just want to confirm guppy/platie are not pair/school fish right? like you dont need to keep them in a pair to avoid stress.
