Zebra Plecos

I'm gonna start shopping the Walmart fish section!

What other kind of pleco is it that has the black and white lines going the other way? What about getting one of those?
 
as curious as this may sound i got a zebra pleco from wal mart if you befriend the fish guy there(i live with one) he can order just about anything
 
I know a GM for the pets dept and they say it does happen by "accident" wether true or not I dont care, their problem
 
I'm wondering........are you sure those weren't striped raphael cats instead of zebra plecos ??

I was at Petco today and they had some of those cats for sale...and if you weren't too sure about what you were looking at....it is a black and white striped plecoish looking cat with stripes that run down the fish and not across.....just wondering.........it just seems so unlikely that walmart would ever have anything like a zebra pleco unless it was one MONSTEROUS mistake !!! :eek:

But I'm going to call them about that anyway !!! :D
 
I kind of doubt that there are really zebras at walmart. I have heard that walmart gets its fish from the same wholesellers as other LFS, its just that they get the "left overs". If thats the case, there is no way a whole seller would let one pass through.
 
yea this would be a good installment for ripleys belive it or not, but stranger things have happened. Maybe this thread will make A.C. hall of fame
