I'm quarantining some fish with Seachem Paraguard in a 10g tank. Since the QT tank is not fully cycled, the ammonia level keeps rising although I do a 30% WC everyday. I wonder if I can put zeolite in the filter to remove ammonia without negating the effect of the medication.

Try adding Seachem Prime at the recommended dosage. That will detoxify the ammonia without removing it, allowing the tank to eventually cycle, and not possibly affect the effectiveness of the medication.
