Resident Evil

i've seen a ton..but those are the ones that stuck in my head, LOL

The first time I saw the original black and white Night of the Living Dead will always be burned into my mind. For some reason, I've always associated it with the Scorpion's Winds of Change, to the point that I sometime get goosebumps when I hear the part where he's whistling. Shaun of the dead was great fun, as was Dead and Breakfast. If you haven't seen that one you should check it out, it's the first time I've ever seen or heard of line-dancing, rapping zombies. Here's a youtube clip of the scene: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NMy6hDOanOc

oh you have to mention:
Undead
Last Man on Earth (Vincent Price)
Omega Man (Charlton Beefcake Heston)
Crazies

The best Zombie movies are the old ones.

Night of the living dead(1968) is my all time favorite, has the best qoute ever "Their coming to get you Barbera" Classic!!

What did you guys think of Land of the Dead? I was expecting more, but it was pretty decent film.

A soon to be movie by Stephen King "Cell" is the only zombie movie that i know of that will deal with a zombie culture that is not undead. I read the book and some of the aspects come straight from the idea of philosophical zombie. The movies comes out Oct 2007 and I suggest you guys read up on philosophical zombie and then read the book Cell. And don't worry the book, and hopefully movie, will have all the violence and gore that us zombie lovers hold dear.

Anyone seen 28 Week Later?

Good choices.....I like a lot of the old classic and schlock zombie flicks, but am also amused by newer, offbeat ones like "Return of the Living Dead", etc.

"Shaun of the Dead" and "Fido" are big faves around here, especially with my 9 year-old daughter....she likes "Night of the Living Dead" (including the 1990 remake), but finds it a bit 'lame'.

We are planning on both participating in the next local 'zombie walk' this summer ( http://www.zombiewalk.com/forum/ ).

Anyone seen 28 Week Later?

I saw it just recently, my only gripe is that the cinema played it too loud and the music wasn't as good as 28 Days (Brian Eno, Grandaddy et al), which I still haven't seen all of .

TBH, I'm not a fan of zombie movies as much as I am of the games but I enjoy the occasional one in moderation, to get the adrenaline pumping :).
