Can Morton's Iodized salt be used to treat Ich?

From what I've read in Dave's article, I'm pretty sure I can, but I just want to be absolutely sure.

My fish had Ich in the past, and I just want to make sure there's no parasites hiding in their gills, so I will be treating them for ich.

Thanks for your concern, but you're right.....I knew that.

I won't get up to 2 tbsp./gallon until around 8 p.m. (using the 1/4 tbsp/ gallon every hour method).

EDIT: Note to those researching the salt treatment for Ich. Use Teaspoons, not Tablespoons. The above was a mis-type on my part. I don't want anybody killing their fish because of my mistaken abbreviation.

Lol, luckily that was a mis-type on my part. I am actually using teaspoons, but I typed tablespoons. Scared myself for a second there.
